I have just returned from Goodwood after a long day of looking and listening to some of the worlds greatest cars going up and down the famous hill. I’ll be completely honest, I’m totally knackered. I was hoping to write up a post on each day, but I really don’t have the energy to do it any justice. Instead, I throw up a few photos of the day and do a larger write up on either Sunday or Monday evening. I will be attending Saturday and Sunday as well, so if there are any more decent pictures taken (maybe Lewis Hamilton et al on Sunday) I’ll post those as and when.
Considering most cars were travelling at speed, I think my old beat-up camera didn’t do too badly. The colours are washed out in some, but I’ll take another camera tomorrow to see if I can get some better ones. I am also taking the better half tomorrow, so I’ll have to spend some time describing why the noise she hears is not bad. It’s good, so very, very good. (She thinks an Aston Martin V8 Vantage sounds horrible. Just wait until the GTs fire up, and the F1 monsters!) Vroooom…

Excellent - some very rare and unusual cars there - especially the older F1 cars… enjoy the rest of the weekend - One of these years I’m going to get myself to Goodwood…

Thank you so much for posting your images of 2007 Goodwood so quickly. We Colonials are not getting any next day coverage. I think you and you beat up camera did an excellent job. Please keep Sunday’s images coming (even though I know what it’s like to have you wife along…). I was at the Goodwood Revial last year for the first time with Phil Hill and it was incredible.

Went Sunday and although there was a little rain it was an Awesome day. So many cars, so much going on, next time ill probably do 2 days as then i can get some track pics. Got an Autograph from Lewis and his dad, saw the awesome Bugatti Veyron and some 2006, 2007 F1 cars
. Highly recommended weekend.

Amazing. Great cars (look at the chapparral !!!) and great fun, I think. Don’t You ? I need to be there next year …
