ITV Say Farewell To F1 With Video Montage.
As ITV broadcast their final race before handing over to the BBC, they put together a video montage with footage from the last twelve years and 206 races. The video was put to the song “Welcome to the Black Parade” by My Chemical Romance.

Why didn’t they do things like this a bit more often? I know it’s not exactly earth-shattering but it shows a bit of initiative which has been sadly lacking over recent years - in fact I’d say their coverage has been better since the BBC announcement which is the opposite of what you’d expect.

It’s crazy, isn’t it!? They lose the contract, then broadcast quality improves to what it should have been all along (with the exceptions of Allen and adverts).
