Tragedy & Elation: The History Of Circuit Gilles Villeneuve

This coming weekend will see the Formula One circus descend on the Saint Lawrence river for the Canadian Grand Prix. The circuit, renamed in 1982 to honour Gilles Villeneuve, is one of the few tracks on the Formula One calendar that I truly like. Theissen Wants Changes Made To Qualifying

Nick Heidfeld - 2008 Malaysian Grand PrixIt doesn’t come as much surprise that BMW boss Mario Theissen wants changes to be made to the qualifying procedure as soon as possible. BMW driver Nick Heidfeld was unnecessarily held up while attempting to qualify in Malaysia. The incident can only really be described as ridiculous and dangerous. Jacques Villeneuve & Craig Pollock End Professional Relationship

Jacques Villeneuve - 2007 Spanish Grand PrixJacques Villeneuve and Craig Pollock have mutually decided to part ways and end their professional relationship, it emerged over the weekend. Pollock has managed Villeneuve since the Canadian first got seriously involved in motor sport and between them they run a few businesses and have enjoyed substantial success. Villeneuve, under Pollock’s wing, has won the CART title and the Indy 500 (in 1995) and the Formula One world championship, claimed with Williams in 1997. Continue Reading
