Mika Hakkinen’s French villa has been destroyed by fire, local police reported earlier this morning. The Finnish double world champion had been relaxing at his luxury house with his partner and another friend. All three managed to escape the blaze, although apparently a dog perished while trapped inside the building. It is unknown if the local police meant Hakkinen’s partner to be his wife, Erja, as the two are currently seeking divorce, according to Finnish and German tabloids. Continue Reading
