Scuderia Toro Rosso: The Bourdais/Sato/Buemi Dilemma

Now that all three Scuderia Toro Rosso hopefuls have shown their worth in one of the Red Bull-descended cars, the little team with big results already in their pocket have to make a decision; Sebastien Bourdais, Sebastien Buemi and Takuma Sato are all looking for race seats, and STR have two vacancies. Lucas Di Grassi To Also Test For Honda

Honda have invited Renault test driver Lucas Di Grassi to their evaluating test session at Circuit de Catalunya later this month. It was announced earlier in the week that Bruno Senna would also be present as the team try to decide who should race alongside Jenson Button in 2009. Bruno Senna To Test For Honda

Nephew of the late Ayrton Senna and GP2 runner-up Bruno Senna will get his first taste of Formula One machinery later this month when he tests for Honda at Circuit de Catalunya in November. The young driver has been linked to many teams through the course of the 2008 season, but with many seats already taken, Senna’s options for stepping up are dwindling. STR To Evaluate Sébastien Buemi In Jerez

After Bruno Senna rubbished the rumour that he has already signed for Scuderia Toro Rosso for 2009, the Austro/Italian team have stated that they will be evaluating Red Bull test driver Sébastien Buemi at the Jerez test in September. Sébastien was announced as Red Bull’s test driver for this season back in January, and although the testing limits have meant the Swiss driver has seen little serious action in the car, Buemi has been busy doing PR stunts for the team as well as competing in the GP2 series. Bruno Senna Takes Sideways Pole In France

Bruno Senna, nephew to the late Ayrton Senna, has taken a somewhat strange pole position for the GP2 event in Magny Cours this weekend. Following the Formula One circus around, GP2 is a major feeder series to Formula One, and young Senna is one of the stars pipped for future success. However, his antics in France have shown tanacity that I’ve only heard of from his uncle.
