Caption Contest: #70
The seventieth photograph to feature in BlogF1’s caption contest. You know the drill, think of something funny and witty to say and leave it as a comment below. Like with last year, this caption contest is a little late in order to tie in with Christmas Day. And also in parallel with last year, it’s a wintery image. Here we have Tiago Monteiro and Narain Karthikeyan at the launch of the 2005 Jordan. The reason for the snow is that Midland had just purchased the team from Eddie Jordan, and although they raced under the Jordan name for the ‘05 season, they were owned by Russian-born but Canadian-resident Alex Shnaider. Hence the chilly Moscow launch for the EJ15.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish every reader and contributor of BlogF1 a very merry Christmas, happy holidays and a peaceful December 25th. I hope the new year brings prosperity and happiness to you all.

No, seriously Tiago, brightly coloured trousers are the thing this year. We consulted with Brawn, and he’s well ahead of his time when it comes to fashion!

I can’t believe we both bought each other comedy furry helmets for Christmas. What were the chances, eh?

Why is that man in the background staring at us? I thought the boss said these camouflage suits would make us blend perfectly into the background…

Tiago: Do you think these hats will become standard wear in the paddock this season?
Narian: The locals apparently approve, but I don’t think Bernie would agree……..
