    • BlogF1 Shamelessly Self-Promotes In 2008 Weblog Awards

    Following Sidepodcast’s nomination by Bassano Clapper in the 2008 Weblog Awards, I decided to nominate my own site. I don’t normally do shameless self-promotion, but some bandwagons are worth joining. I’ve put BlogF1 in two categories; Best UK Blog and Best Sports Blog. I’ll post some links below where you can head along and click the ‘+’ icon to add a nomination vote.

    To support fellow Formula One bloggers, you may want to add a vote to Sidepodcast, who are also in the Best Online Community category, and also F1Fanatic who did quite well last year, and has put himself forward for the Best Blog category.

      have bigged-up you and keith, although looking at the votes tally i think keith had already won every category before i got there.

      amazing the amount of motorsport blogs there are listed too. love it.

      Basically, you click this link –Vote for BlogF1 – Best UK Blog, 2008 Weblog Awards– and at the top of your screen you should see a comment written by me. It just lists my site name, URL and feed address. Where it says the particulars of my comment (my name, date etc…), there should also be a little green icon with a plus symbol. Click that if you think BlogF1 is the best UK-based blog. I get…

      …actually, what do I get from all this? Ah, bragging rights. :)

      Feel free to do the same with this link –Vote for BlogF1 – Best Sports Blog, 2008 Weblog Awards– and any other blogs you want.

      This is just the nomination phase I think, who knows what’ll happen if I get through!?
