Hmm, pretty soon we won’t have anything to complain about if the FIA keep giving in to fans’ demands!

I'm sure I could find something. ;)

I’d just be happy with the right decisions being made in the first place!

Here here Pink, I agree.

What an incredible piece of progress and after Max has only been in the job for a decade and a half.

Formula One may be the fastest sport on the planet, but I think I've mentioned before that the decision-making process resembles the tortoise.

What an incredible piece of progress and after Max has only been in the job for a decade and a half.

I see no need for your retraction Ollie. If the stewards were unable to view replays they should have had a word with their advisor to make sure those facilities were made available to them. What is the point in Max and Bernie telling everyone what a high tech sport this is and yet the stewards don't have access to basic video equipment?

I assume mini-max is at the root of this decision because it would be totally against the grain for Max to be more open than absolutely legally required.

My only worry is that they will give us all the information but use it to try an justify insane decisions like those we have seen this season. They will produce video to prove that Bourdais was at fault when quite clearly he was not or will use it to justify non-penalties as issued to Massa at Valencia.

Like many other people my expectations of the FIA are lower than a rattle snake's belly button but still they manage to disappoint. I expect we will have 'evidence' produced to prove a point where only one camera angle will be used because the other available angles tell a story that differs from the official line.

TBH I am not really concerned with justifying the penalties to the fans, I'd just be happy with the right decisions being made in the first place !

Somehow I can't see that day coming, but this is surely a step in the right direction - in theory at least, whether the end results will live up to the hope remains to be seen.

I'm mildly optomistic though....
