Thank you for bringing Super Aguri back. it is a sad moment when someone leave F1 either it is a person or a team.

But the question is, if somehow Super Aguri made it through 2008 will the new regulations have helped the team for 2009 and probably the team would survived for years to come?

We have 4 independent teams in F1.
1-Williams (endangered).
2-STR (Will they be competitive without Vettel).
3-RedBull (I think they have the best chance for good future among the four team).
4-Force India (will they be more competitive with Mclaren Engines).

I think the only team that is seriously endangered is Force India, But the recent talks of an Indian GP and Mallya's talks with Mclaren to supply engines mean that we will be able to see Force India for some years to come. Unless Vijay Mallya gets feed up with the team's poor performance and stop his financial support. The problem with F1 you can pour as much money as you can but still not be competitive. Honda and Toyota are the best example.

Thankx again.

It’s a shame this has happened to Super Aguri and I hope this doesn’t happen to STR-Ferrari next year.

I too hope we don't lose another team from the grid. But Mateschitz's recent mumblings suggest a bright future for the squad. But as with everything in Formula One, things can change pretty quickly. It is certain that STR will be on the 2009 grid, but after that, well I guess it depends on those customer chassis rules...
