It was Estoril 95′ when Coulthard took his first win – that Spa race was when Michael Schumacher won despite qualifying down in 16th and he tried to fight Damon Hill robustly on slicks despite the track being wet.Hill and Brundle joined him on the podium , Coulthard’s gearbox broke when he was leading early on.I did download this race to my PC in case you’re wondering how I know so much

Alonso wasn’t even on the podium. He was in a ambulance.

A very good point. Thank you for reminding why the result became such a mess. That was a nasty accident at Interlagos, but thankfully Alonso was okay.

Unfortunately though, this is just the official result. The actual podium was different because Fisichella wasn’t accredited with the win until the officials decided to read the rule book.

Alonso wasn’t even on the podium. He was in a ambulance.

Great insight, Ollie Had no idea there were so many first time winner podiums.
