I first read about this on Pitpass, and the article was written by Christopher Sylt, who (according to the Pitpass version):

The article was co-authored by Pitpass' own roving business reporter Chris Sylt...

So yes, the article was written for the Independent On Sunday, but the version put up on Pitpass was more detailed. And as I state and link in the text, both sources are listed in the opening sentence.

Pitpass have an interesting article up this morning that mirrors a printed article in the Independent On Sunday...

This might sound petty, but why is everyone crediting Pitpass on this? It's the Independent on Sunday's story.
