Not quite News of the World - but not too far from it ! No deal has been done as yet, but apparently Ron Walker (who is the Chairman of the AGPC) is in London to meet with Bernie today and try to thrash out an agreement. How that will go, I am not sure since Melbourne refuse to run a night race and Bernie is supposed to be intractable on that. Plus he wants to up his fees again, and I am sure that will go down like a lead balloon. But there must have been 'preliminary' talks to even get this far, so we'll see. Fingers crossed, hey !
