As Terry hinted at above, the wife of an MI5 Officer was one of the prostitutes hired by Mosley for his afternoon in Chelsea back in March. Due to this compromising security (the officer has left himself open to blackmail) he has stepped down from his position. Interesting how one of the country’s top intelligence agencies is now sort-of involved in the Mosley-saga, although MI5 have issued a statement denying they have anything to do with this.

Looks to me like Max is beginning to panic. The letter has no strong points in his favor as anything he says that requires him doesn’t really require him.

This CRH thing is wacky to me. As Milos said, it was for 100 years. Stop this nonsense in it’s tracks and move on. Max, you’re falling fast

I agree with your sentiments, Ollie. Max is basically trying to secure power for himself, but a lot of the things in the letter suggest it would be better if someone else took the reins of power, scandal or no scandal. His handling of said scandal was very poor and the very fact that Bernie is trying to get regulatory power says that Max’s handling of F1 is poor.

well, here I am not sure if Max has a case, or the only case here is for Max to remain president beyond early June …

But the CRH has also now asked for control over the F1 regulations and the right to sell the business to anyone – in effect to take over F1 completely. I do not believe the FIA should agree to this. Why is he even talking to them then ? The agreement is supposed to be “100 year” and was made in 2000 … It is 2008 now … If CRH asks for favour that does not hurt FIA, give it. But if they start ask for more, send them somewhere and forget about any favours … Isn’t that what Max should do as a competent president ? Looks to me Mosley just made a case for himself to be let go …
