Actually I think that ToroRosso will face a difficult season. They have Ferrari engines, yes, but will the new car really arrive after 3 or 4 races, as Vettel said in the interview?

I think it’s a bit ignorant when Europeans say Champcars don’t race in bad weather.

But not when other nations/continents suggest it?

I'm not really a follower of CCWS, but I'm pretty certain the 2006 race at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve was cancelled due to rain. Circuit Gilles Villeneuve being a track where both CCWS and F1 race on.

If I'm wrong I'll admit it but I've had this image in my head of everyone at Montreal looking up and shaking their heads for quite a while.

I think it's a bit ignorant when Europeans say Champcars don't race in bad weather. They race in any weather on a street/road course. However, they wouldn't race on an oval during the rain because that's quite a bit more dangerous than even Fuji this year. Doesn't matter though, its not like CCWS has been on a real oval in the past 2-3 years.

STR might actually be taking a wise course in leaving the adoption of a new chassis until later in the year - forced upon them as it is. Towards the end of the 2007 season, both STR and RBR began to get a real handle on how to make the STR02/RB3 work. This has continued in testing, judging by the times set, and so they will start the new season with a well-sorted and reliable car.

Look for them to have problems once their version of the RB4 is delivered, however...
