And a great comment Howard, thanks. Honestly, I see Red Bull improving on their 2006 form, but third in the constructors is little higher than I would imagine them to be - it's a good aspiration though.

Honda - as history tells us and you pointed out - should have a down year, but I think they could break this trend in 2007. I personally do not think they'll be in contention for the title, but a good year is on the cards, especially now Rubens seems to be more settled in the team. But all the PR in the world cannot make your car go any faster...

I think Honda are being a bit quiet so that when they do start talking it will hit everyone big. The Honda will most likely be green and environmental and I think it's going to be a bit of a whirlwind by their PR team over the next couple of months.

Can they win? Races, yes maybe, the championship? Doubtful. Ferrari are going to be very strong, so perhaps Honda will be fighting for best of the rest like 2004, with Renault, McLaren and hopefully RBR *cough*. Though I think they'll have a tougher time of beind second best in '07.

Honda and BAR before them have seemed to be very hit and miss in the last couple of years. '03 miss, '04 hit, '05 miss, '06 hit. They and McLaren are each others Zenith and Nadir, swapping around. Recent history tells us Honda will struggle this year while McLaren will bounce back. With a bit of a no-name technical director, and tens of new aerodynamicists fresh out of university I think Honda will have a bit of a dip this year, 4th in the constructors is my guess, ahead of Renault but behind Ferrari, McLaren and *ahem* RBR.

2008 I can see Honda fighting for the title though.

Good article, I like all the speculation, it's always great to look back in 12 months and see how wrong I was!
